Actually for a few weeks I had my stock 15's on my truck with my 3/5 drop. I
didn't have a problem untill I put the R/T front antisway bar on. It seems
its just a tad bit different than the stocker (bends wise). I would rub my
wheels on it pretty bad. I still do rub at full turn even with my R/T
wheels.
If you really want to do a 2/3 drop, and want to do it right, I would
suggest the Western Chassis front lower control arms, and hangars in the
back. You will also want new shocks (but I *think* the stock ones will work)
and new bushings. I did use my stock shocks for about a week after the drop,
but it was harsh, not because it was bottoming out, which it wasn't (the
roads here are pretty good), but after 55k miles, they needed replacing
anyway. The front control arms are$230 I think and the shocks were just
under $50 a peice. The bushing kit was $55 but you can easily sell the lower
bushings for about $45 since you won't be able to use them with the new arms
anyway. I also opted to replace all my ball-joints since I was in there. On
another note, make sure you lube everything up REALLY good. I have a bad
squeak from the drivers side and I think I forgot to lube something ?? Feel
free to ask me any q's.
