You are correct Chad. That's what I have mine set at also, but it is
different strokes for different engines...or however that goes. I don't
remember your engine size but on my 5.9 with an MSD and an MSD coil and 8.5
mm wires .050 works just fine. The factory gap is .040, by the way. Also,
my plugs are Autolite 3923's.

there is an attachment from MSD's website. i just tried their
suggestion. i
had the plugs gapped at the stock .035 but it didn't seem to do
anything. i
didn't go the .005 increments. i just went and set them at .050.
gapping
them at .050 i could definately tell a difference in
performance. .050
worked so i stayed with it.
