if I remember correctly you don't ground the new fuse block. basically I
have the 8 gauge wire from the battery and then it's distributed to lots of
terminals with fuses on them. I know the connections are good. the grounds
for the alarm and power seat are good and at several spots. For some reason
the power is just very weak. the only thing I can come up with is that the
8 gauge wire needs to be much higher quality (kinda like stereo equipment
wiring).
this is the fuse block I have...

Were you using the same ground each time??
If not check the ground. If so check your connections/crimps on the 8gauge.

ok, a little explanation. I have an additional (painless wiring) fuse block
in the interior of my truck. I planned on tapping all my new electrical
toys into this location for ease and cleanliness. I have an 8 gauge wire
from the battery to the fuse block (with a fuse of coarse). now when I
tried powering my sirens (2) through the new block they are very weak
sounding. If I power it directly off of the battery they are full sounding.
any idea why I'm getting such weak power from the new block.
