11.5 refers to the sidewall width of the tire. I *think* an 11.5 can be
mounted on a 9 inch wide rim with no problem. IF anyone else knows
for sure, please post.. I am pondering new tires as well and am
wondering what width rim a 12.5 and 11.5 width sidewall will mount on.
