OK, the tally so far:
Belly pan gasket
Water pump
Tensioner pulley
Serpentine belt
The dealer started by telling me that only the water pump was covered under
my warranty, that the belly pan gasket, the tensioner and the belt were on
me. He also wanted to do some $155 billstein flush?? on my TB because of
all of the oil being sucked through my injectors. I politely replied that I
believed there was a TSB on the gasket, and that since I *just* had my 60k
service (all $900 of it) that that *should* have been done/caught then (the
cleaning/tsb) so I shouldn't have to pay for that. He was, however adamant
about my tensioner pulley not being covered. I also asked about the 180
degree Tstat, and was told that if I want a 180, I can have it, but I will
have to pay $10 extra for it. Actually, as I am sitting here, I cannot
remember why I want the 180 tstat, but I do remember that as the list's
reccomendation. The worst part is having to drive a $#%# neon all
weekend...
