Oops...forgot to write down:

If the kit did not come with any break in lube, do NOT use any. In most
cases, the cams already have some sort of lube on them.

(1) Inspect all of your old roller lifters and make sure that the tips
roll with ease and smooth (Put them in some clean engine oil while
you're swapping out the cam to keep them from bleeding down too much)
(2) Clean the cam and lube it with engine oil (unless otherwise
specified by the manufacturer) - Install the cam
(3) Reinstall the lifters, etc.
(4) Adjust the rocker arms

The entire installation can either be "by the book", by different
manufacturer recommendations, or how different engine shops feel
comfortable with it.

** If the lifters have more than 60K miles on them, they're very worn on
the rollers, or are a bit tight or "crunchy" when rolling the tips with
your finger (inspection), it's highly recommended to change them with
new ones.

Don't forget to change the oil and filter.

Sam:

On a brand new install with cam/lifters (and using the break-in lube
that comes with some of the hyd/roller kits) yes...there is some
break-in (about 10 minutes). If you're just changing the cam without
changing the lifters, then there really isn't a break-in period.
However, run it for a about 5 minutes, vary the rpm's up and down, make
sure you've got oil pressure, shut it down, change the oil, be done with
it.

On the procedure...my bad, I posted the wrong one.
