Thanks! The 318 is internally balanced, so it sounds like I would be
OK as far as that goes.

Tell me about it... :-) I recently used a broken alternator bolt to
justify aluminum heads, an intake, cam, roller rockers, valve springs,
headers, high flow water pump, clutch fan, radiator, reverse manual
valve body and tranny pan on my 440... And yet I'm wearing sneakers
held together with duct tape because I don't want to spend $30 on a new
pair. :-)
