MSD sells an 8.5mm SuperConductor set for the 5.2/5.9. I
believe the part number is 32189. Magnecor is probably the
best wire out there, but they are pricey. I recently ordered
some MSD SuperConductors for my 440 and the fit was terrible -
the boots were way too long. Maybe they would work on a B
body, but there wasn't even room for the boots to clear the
fenders on the cuda. Anyway, I replaced them with a set of
Taylors which had an excellent fit, and were about half the
price. They seem like a good wire, but I suppose time will
tell. The MSD set for my Dakota was a good fit. (Check out
the install if you like, in the "upgrades and modifications"
section of the DML Home Page - www.dakota-truck.net) I
replaced the MSD wires with a set of Magnecors, but only
because one of them fell out of the loom, laid up against a
header pipe and burned through the insulation.
