I have a similar problem. I bought an instrument cluster over ebay a
long time ago - I wanted a tach ... my stock cluster was the standard
one. Well in cold weater 30°F or so - the tach will not work - ....
only when the truck warms up (physically warms up the interior) will it
work. until it gets cold again. It kinda bugs me - but not enough to
pull the cluster and do something about it.
