Thanks, I'll look into that. I did have an open air cleaner on.
The trick involved disconnecting the TV cable from the tb,
pulling the cable out about 1/2" and clamping it with a gator
clip. When investigating afterwards, I noticed that there's
a pretty hefty spring which returns the butterflies to the
closed position when lifting the accelerator.
