Jon,
If it were me I'd get them to drop the price enough to offset the expense of
replacing the throwout bearing and do it yourself or have someone you trust
to do it. Chances are if they do it, that's all they'd do. Whereas if you
do it you can replace the clutch and resurface the flywheel (if needed)
while you're in there and know it's going to last you a long time.
Hmmm, while you're at it, why not a 4.7 or 5.7 Hemi in place of the V6??:-)
You could also replace the front end with the Gen II nose. Oops, getting
carried away with YOUR project. Sorry...
