The trick on the V6's is to find an uncracked block. Check the #2
cylinder, upper head bolt hole. I went through seven cores before
finally getting one useable.

yep, all the same from 92 and up. Howevere, good luck finding an
uncracked
set, I looked through probably 6 sets before I found a good one. They
all
seem to crack across the valve seats, from the intake to the xhaust
valve,
allways seems to be on the same cylinder too,
