My caliper wasn't stuck. The caliper still slid smoothly on the pins. I over
heated my brakes a while back and apparently it caused the pad to go soft
which resulted in the damage in the pictures. Luckily, the repairs weren't
too bad. I don't remember the exact total, but it was just over $100.00 for
solid Brembo rotors from Autozone and a set of Performance Friction pads.
What was really odd was the fact that the squealer never made any noise and
the truck didn't pull when I pushed on the brakes. It just made a low
grinding noise when I pulled to a stop on a road with a wall or fence on the
right side of the truck.
