I recently installed a drop-in K&N filter and a Flowmaster '50' series
muffler on my 2K V6 Dak. I was averaging 19.5 mpg (70%hwy/30%city), now I
have dropped to about 17.5 mpg. I figured at first it was just me listening
to the new sound of the exhaust, but I'm sure that I'm not getting on it
anymore than usual now and I have lost 2mpg. Does anyone have any ideas? The
only other mod I have is Bosch Platinum+4 plugs and they have been in for
awhile(while I was getting the 19+). Also, it hasn't been cold enough yet to
let her sit and warm up so that isn't the culprit. Unless the 300lbs for
winter did it, I added that about mid-tank. Thanks for any tips, John
