Congrats! :-) If it truly isn't getting enough air at the start,
maybe the IAC (idle air control) motor is stuck closed? When you turn
the key on, you should be able to hear it hum, as it moves back to its
"start position". (Though if it is already in position I guess you
wouldn't hear anything. :-) (I would have expected that to throw
a code though, if the PCM couldn't move the IAC motor.) ?
As another DMLer posted, it might have been the plugs. As long as
its running and starting the way it should, I'd probably leave it
alone for a while to see how it behaves. If the plugs are old, you
may want to replace 'em just as a precautionary measure.
