There was a recall for the intermediate shaft on the steering a couple of
years ago. Something to check. If it's a hard corner then it's what Sean sid
it is. My '01 used to do it when hitting a slight bump making a tight left
turn. Used to drive me crazy. Greased the rub point up at every oil change
and that seemed to make it better.
