FWIW
its illegal in every state to have a compressed gas cyl.
in any passenger area.
 
a pickup or other exposed platform truck w/ comm. plates,
if properly placarded, can have it in the bed/cargo area.

its also illegal to put a propane/gas grill cyl. in a trunk
or passenger area.
