I believe that the shift-on-the-fly transfer case is designed to only be
used at < 55mph. I know that this is also the case on F**ds, at least in
Ranger and Exploder applications.

I sure wouldn't do it. I do occasionally switch to 4-hi and punch the gas,
but never at that kind of speed.
