What's really funny is watching the LOLWBH* sitting in the Cadillac with
Jersey plates at a station just over the border in New York. You can just
hear them thinking "Where is that attendant anyway?".

I don't know why the law was enacted in Jersey; it goes back to before I was
born. Just a couple of year ago most of the stations here switched to
"self-service" pumps. It was like all of them switched overnight. When I
made comments at the stations about the stupidity of self-service pumps in a
state with self-service is technically illegal I got an awful lot of blank
looks.

Anyone see that commercial (I think for Amoco) with the cute blonde girl
bringing gas to a dumb schmuck who ran out? They're implying that he runs
out of gas often just to get a good look at her. Anyone know where I can
find that station cause there sure isn't anyone that looks like that working
at the stations here!

Oregon is the same way, I used to clip the corner of Oregon on my way to
Colorado when I lived in Washington. My first time through, I had no idea,
so I got out of my truck and started to get ready to pump my gas like I
always do. The lady came running out of the store yelling hysterically, I
thought they were getting robbed or something, she was telling me not to
pump my own gas. Apparently they get a huge fine if a customer is caught
pumping their own gas. Now that I live close to Jersey, I see it when I go
over there, funny thing is, gas is usually cheaper in Jersey than it is in
Pennsylvania where you have to pump it yourself. Go figure.
