Actually, there term would be limited to eight years not two. In most
jobs we don't become oblivious to what the actual people we do the job
for want be politics is a different thing. In my job, or most other
people, are you treated like royalty, don't have contact with the people
you are doing it for other than a special event that if usually attended
by wealthy people who are just wanting to get you interested in their
cause, only have contact with the regular folks in pre arrange events
with a lot of media coverage, and make decisions for these people, or
what affects them from a long distance away.

Unfortunately in politics in this century there are too many outside
influences. Politicians are treated as if they are in their own private
club and are pushed everything with benefits to them by the lobbyists.

I don't think term limits would solve everything but I do think it would
help. Think of it this way, would you want the President to hold office
as long as he keeps getting reelected? I wouldn't. I want somebody to
come in every few years to give fresh ideas and thoughts about how to do
things. That's is why there is a term limit on the President, and the
House, and most of the major offices in each state.

It's sad it's that way-people have been programmed to let government
take
care of everything for them, even how to vote.
It is a citizen's job to know what is going on in their government.

So, what you are saying you should be replaced at your job every two
years,
right? If you don't, you will become out of touch with the real world,
right?
it doesn't matter how well you do your job, you should be fired every
two
years, according to the term limits theory.
