Argh. Chrysler was the one with the technology (computer aided
design, prototyping, testing, etc.) Unless I am mistaken, they were
the first manufacturer to design a car completely by computer. (If
they weren't the first they were certainly one of the first.) All
MB has ever done is to purchase gizmos designed by other companies to
install in their cars (and then try to fix all the bugs and glitches).
Sorry to keep harping on this issue, but I don't want anyone to
forget the truth about what happened! Time has a way of healing
wounds, but this one needs to fester.
