I was referring to the alcohol not being visible. As for the propane,
you'd have to get the mix righth so you get a yellow rather than blue flame.

Propane is "no worse than gas" until you get in an accident and the tank
or hose is ruptured. Liquid gas will leak all over and give you a
chance at escaping (if it even leaks); propane will explode pretty quickly.
