I've done a lot of research on the 5.9 R/T as I had planned to buy a '01 CC
R/T my dealer had locally.

The 5.9 engine option is only available on 2wd Dak's with either the R/T
package or in the Quad cab models (it can also be gotten on 4WD Quad cabs in
the Dakota model)
No Dakota's came with the 5.9 in a club cab model in 2wd unless it had the
R/T package.

I'd say it's a legit R/T, but it having 650hp with only 8psi of boost is a
little far fetched, unless it's had some serious engine mods.
