Oops, yep, I was wrong on the Engine code part...
As for the heads, the angle that the intake manifold bolts go into the
head are different on the Magnum heads compared to the W-5's... Magnum
intake manifold bolts go straight down... older LA intake manifold bolts
go in at an angle...
The W-5 heads will fit on the block, but the MPFI intake manifolds
(factory or M1 MPI) won't fit on the heads!

He may have used W-5 heads studs to secure the heads, I've heard of
this.
As far as the VIN# there is a "Z" in the code which denotes the 5.9
engine
in the engine code (the 8th digit is the engine code spec)
Someone may want to have the R/T club run the VIN ##
to verify the Dak as a legit R/T.(anyone here in that club too?)
