Yes, my 2k act similarly so I'd say it's probably "normal." I pay no
attention to the lo fuel icon and actually not much to the gas gauge either
in that I get a consistent 20mpg with my driving. I always fill the tank to
the brim, set the trip odometer to 000 and when it reads about 400mi then I
get about 20 more gal. on my 22 gal tank. System has worked flawlessly for me
for over 3yrs now.
