FWIW, I have the Western Chassis 2" dropped spindles and their lowered
hangers/shackles (set for 3" drop).

The stock shocks have worked well with these for the past 10 years and
28,000 miles. Racing, street driving, hauling, whatever. They have never
bottomed out on mine as there is still sufficient length.

The nice thing about the dropped spindles is they don't change the spring or
shock height. Ride has always been same as stock, just lower.
