I just installed an Alpine CDA 7894 in my truck. I think it's the same one
you got (cd/mp3 player) and all you have to do is run the constant wire from
the back of the radio to the 12 volt constant wire under the dash (from the
ignition harness). That's all you need to do, you don't need to add any
other fuse than what came with the radio.
