Thanks Bill, I have a '97 SLT Club Cab w. 3.9L V6.

Yeah, I was pretty much planning on doing what you propose, but hoping
someone else had done the leg-work to figure out which wires are which.
I've already installed the head unit and sealed up the dash and didn't want
to go back in unless necessary. I have pulled the kick-panel off the passanger
side and there are two connectors that run into the bottom of the amp. It looks
like one connector is dedicated to what comes from the head unit and the other
is mainly the outputs for the speakers. Not sure which is in and which is out.
Anyway, if I had the wiring diagram, I was going to rig up some jumpers that I
could just run from one connector to another for each speaker connection.
That way, if I ever decide to trade in (those quad cabs look mighty nice!), I can
just re-plug the factory setup. As you said, it shouldn't be too hard to figure it
out. If I get time, I'll do the detective work and report back.
