I believe the Ultra Flo is the oem unit used on R/Ts

Subject: DML: Dynomax muffler for 5.9

Slightly OT but I don't think enough for the OT list. I just got a 2000
Durango SLT with th 5.9 engine. Traded in the 97 Dakota with the 3.9.
Loved the Dakota but family is growing and now so are the gas prices. Well
the first tank I got 17MPG. I put a Dynomax Turbo on the Dakota and and got
a significant torque and MPG gain for the cost. I'm looking at one of three
Dynomax mufflers from Jegs.

Boss Turbo: $16.99
HD super turbo: $62.99 (Primarly RV/towing)
Super Turbo: $34.99
Ultra Flo: $106.99

Found the sound clips between the Flowmaster and Dynomax and liked the Ultra
flo the best. The top three are oval and not sure if they will fit easily.
I'm hoping for mainly MPG increase. I know that with the 5.9 I can't expect
the 20MPG I was getting with the 3.9 but hoping for better. I'l be getting
the plugs (3923) and putting my homebrew cold air intake on today. If I can
get an average of 18-19 MPG with these additional mods I'll be happy. I can
afford to get the Ultra Flo, I just want to make sure that would be the best
purchase or if I should go slightly cheaper. Thank you for all input.
Bill
