Howdy ya'll from the great state of Texas. Has anyone seen this yet, sounds
like a cool Dakota swap http://www.hotrodlane.cc/HEMI/hemimain.html

Well the wife and I finally moved into our new house here in Waxahachie,
about 20 miles south of Dallas. Cool little house with a 2 car garage just
begging for a Dak project!! Unfortunately I had to sell my 95' built 360
beast of a Dak to finance the move(from Detroit to Dallas) and for a partial
down payment for our house, so I have no dak and am experiencing severe
testicle shrinkage due to a lack of a performance vehicle in my garage!!!!
The good news is I'm going back to MI for a few weeks, seems a customer of
mine is willing to pay me nicely to come back for a while, and I have a 360
block being prepped for a stroker crank that I had to leave there. So as I'm
unable to find a suitable V-8 Dak project, I'll just finish the 408 until I
do. What I'm looking for is a 92'-95' V-8 RC 5-speed, but so far all I can
find are V-6 versions. How hard a swap is this because I may have to go this
route. If anyone has details on this please send them my way. Oh as a side
note I was able to talk Mark Kuzia into moving out here because the economy
seems a bit better then in Detroit, anyway he recently traded in his old
"Crack Dak" for a HEMI Ram 1500 SLT, very nice truck, and it seems to have
lots of power all through the RPM band. Anyway its nice to be back, I missed
my 100 emails a day!!
