Hey Tom, The step bumbers are only rated for around 200 pounds tounge and
2000 pounds total trailer weight! Spend the $150 and install a class III.
The one on my 92 used existing holes and took me about 1 hr to install. If
you plan on towing I would recommend this direction. Teh magnum and non
magnum heads are different so you will have to get some older style headers.
Unfortunately 89 (Shelby) and 91 Dodge were the only 2 years of the non
magnum V-8 in the Dakota so some parts are a pain to find and some trial and
error is in order. I have a 92 and my friend has a 91 so we go through this
