So Greg you are saying that if it is not a mega horsepower super car it has
no value as a performance car. Many in the SCCA and in Europe would
disagree. I have owned muscle cars and sports cars an my two mini Mopars are
among my favorites. Any time you are in NE PA I would love to give you a
ride in my Charger 2.2 Solo II car (soon to be Solo I). It makes about 145
hp through carbs, stock bottom end and will easily pull over 1 lateral G. My
Neon will be able to do the same thing by the end of the month. I can afford
a more expensive or faster car but it wouldn't be as much fun. Besides if I
wanted to run 13's or 12's in the quarter I would by an old turbo Dodge.
13's for a few hundred 12's for under $2000, Of course that does not include
the $2,000 to $3,000 to by the car. I am 35 by the way. Guess I am kind of
in between.
