Andy and Jason Bleazard had a onboard camcorder last year - hooked to a
tripod. This year I will have my camcorder with me and my tripod - and
also mounted in an onbord set up. To give a drivers seat view of the
action. If my buddy comes with he will have his camcorder too. There
will be no shortage of film this year.
Also - I was discussing with Jon, the possibility of a wireless DML BBQ
Web Cast from The Pit this year. I could do it - using some of my
computer equipment and a DC-to-AC converter - however the cost is
totally prohibitave. I estimated it would cost at least $1700 to
purchase the additional wireles equipment and antennas etc. Maybe in a
few years we can pull it off... when the cost comes down.
