You might want to check out SMR Transmission (http://www.smrtrans.com/);
although I have never purchased a transmission from them, I have
purchased a 727 reverse manual valve body and have talked with Pat Storey
(the owner) on a couple of occasions. He was very nice to deal with,
they really seem to know their stuff, and I haven't heard any complaints
about them yet.
Unfortunately their web site doesn't appear to list prices, but you
can email or call. They are located in Ontario (Canada) so the exchange
rate may be in your favor too.
