That sounds to me like it would be really expensive!
OK, so I checked into new calipers. The only choices I found were the $3000 six piston Stillen kit (with rotors), Stillen Stilex single piston kit (no rotors) for $1200 (4wheelparts.com), and the Raybestos "superduty" PG Plus loaded calipers (essentially like OEM, but new). Everything else was remanufactured oem stuff.
Generally, I have approached this as when replacements are necessary, I upgrade the components to be replaced. Unfortunately, I don't see any mid-range aftermarket calipers. They are either just like OEM, or 6+ piston designs to compete with high-end products for Vipers, Porches, etc.
When I put on the powerslots, I painted the calipers. I might have messed up the piston on either or both calipers in the process.
I don't know about turning the powerslot rotors - if they are warped, turning them would leave thick and thin areas which would heat unevenly. It would just warp again in no time.
Has anyone used the Raybestos SuperDuty rotors (XD and slotted) and/or the Raybestos aftermarket calipers?

pistons that are not retracting fully. That will warp ANY rotor. Have you
thought about turning those powerslot rotors and replacing the calipers?
