For anyone wishing to visit a track to see how their Dak performs, or for
those of you wishing to compete in ET bracket racing, this NHRA site has
some valuable information.

Take a look at all the categories there and you will be better prepared and
more at ease for your first/next visit to the track. Let me know if you
have any questions not answered there.

I encourage everyone to try this at least once. It's fun, fast, safe and
inexpensive. Read your local track rules and familiarize yourself with the
track layout and local procedures. Avoid the burnout box at first,
especially/always with street tires, and launch from the starting line as
you would from a stoplight. This will put no more wear on your Dak than
doing the same thing on the street. When you want to improve your
technique, identify someone there who appears to be a knowledgeable racer
(not a ricer ;-)) and ask for advice. Most will be happy to help you.
