My Dakota's PCM is stock, I messed around with a Jet chip once, it didn't do
to much so I pulled it......

Soon after I added the Powerdyne and installed a Superchips ICON with a
custom program for the timing
this helped more than anything, no spark knock, lot'sa power...........

occasionally, especially on warm days and when towing even a light/medium
load. I then put on the Mopar CA PCM, which did make it so it didn't
spark-knock as often.. Really only does it when towing a good load, so it
did retard the timing from the hypertech, but not all the way back to stock.
I just swapped it out and put the stock PCM in, see how I do......
