The ball joints CAN be replaced without having to repalce teh entire
control arm assembly. This was a little thing Dodge did to teh Gen III
redesign to up teh service costs. Its nothing more than a dirty trick
to get more money.

I remember reading someones web page where they detailed the steps they
took to replace the ball joints - I think they drilled out the stock
rivits and used a nut/bolt combo (threadlocker obviously used)

But I havnt seen that web page for well over a year. Whatver you do -
DONT pay the STEALERS prices! use moog or dayna ball joins. I'll see
if I can find that web site for you.
