Upshift light?

OK, I've got 6 weeks/1600 miles on the truck now and the blasted thing
still hasn't lit up. 5-speed Daks (at least the newer ones) are
supposed to have an arrow inside the tach to indicate when you should
upshift for max. economy. Mine has yet to light up. Anyone else?

Mind you, I won't actually *obey* the thing, i'm just curious.
