It won't run when the engine is off if you use the relay control wiring on a
curcuit that is hot only when the ignition is on.
If you use a 165 degree switch the fan will kick on before your thermostat
even opens (useless), and the fan would probably run continuously trying to
get the temp that low. The engine may also run below optimal temprature.
Keep in mind the 185 switch kicks off at 170 degrees which is around the
optimal op. temp. (I think) Someone verify this.
