Oh yeah Andy, I agree with you there. No way would I know if Edelbrocks are
the best. Most of the premium shocks are all so much better than stock that
a difference will be seen immediately. I got my Edelbrocks off ebay for
about half price so I was pretty happy anyway. I like Rancho products too,
I have a Rancho brush guard and side steps and they are tough stuff.

Most expensive does not automatically mean best. Especially when
everyone's needs are different. The RS9000s may be the "best" shocks
Rancho makes, but I'd never use the adjusters and the RS5000s more than
met my needs at half the price.
