My '95 Neon had painted door handles standard as part of the "Sport"
package.

Why is this relevant? When I saw my first gen III Dak up close, one of
the things I noticed was "oh, look, they've raided the Neon parts bin for
the door handles." I'm not sure they necessarily used the same parts, but
I'd guess it can be done.
