Tom, you might want to try a can of that engine restore stuff, it's actually
worked pretty decent for me in the past as a temporary fix. It might just
help you a little with the smoking... I used it when I was building the
motor that would go in my 91GT, the one that was in there was toast,
compression was WAY low and it ran like crap. The engine restore totally
helped, picked up some performance and the blue smoke went away. I just put
more in every 3 (or so) oil changes.
