On these trucks, you actually have to hold the idle up when it does catch due
to low voltage in the PCM (computer) and it has to re-learn, just hold a
higher idle for like a minute or so and it'll be fine. Your battery must be real
dead as noted by you leaving the dome light on. Get a new one and I'll bet that
it will clear up.
