Chad, I guess my idea of unconventional and yours are different. How well do
you figure the PCM integrates with that TH400? Does it require you to ditch
the auto PCM for a manual one to avoid the mil? Stand alone system required?
I'm no marketing expert. But since you're effectively talking to the crowd
here and not one individual, I'm having a hard time understanding why this
kit is hands down better than the competition(which you have already
stated), yet when asked about the ease of bolting it on or the tuning, your
comeback is "what's your point?" I would think if you're trying to convince
folks to plop down $3000+ with you for a kit you'd want to craft a little
more convincing response.
I'm not in the market, obviously, and don't know all the ins and outs of
that particular kit. But when I pop the hood on my truck with a 5.9, A/C and
the HD towing package(oil cooler), I don't see anywhere that you'll be
mounting that intercooler up front without considerable fab or rework.
That's why I ask and why I also suggest that it will probably be no plug and
play affair. Maybe you know something we don't? Educate your potential
customers.
Good luck with the kit man. Hope it works up to your expectations.
Bob
