Gen III seats in a Gen II

OK, a short while back someone aksed and I told them what someone else
has told me. To make the buckets work you just use the current tracks
off of the older buckets and transfer them. I finaly got the time to
install a mint set of buckets I got off a guy who has a '99 R/T. He had
this truck for a week and got leather seats from a durango and swapped
them so the seats are brand new.

Anyway, the tracks on the older seats sit a little further forward than
the newer ones mount plus the older tracks mount wider on the old
buckets. If anyone has done, or knows somebody who has, do you know
where I can get a write-up and maybe pictures of the adaptors they made?
If there is another way that would be helpful too.

I am thinking of using 1/8" think aluminum 3/8" angle and putting them
together back to back to end up like a 3/8" step. I would do this on
each rail (4) and then find something to tie them together across the
bottom of the seat. Any ideas would be welcome.
