I put an Edelbrock on my V8 and my seat-of-the-pants dyno told me increased throttle response over the stock air box with a drop in K&N. I assume the throttle body of the 5.9L is the same diameter opening as the 3.9L. Holley also has the same air cleaner. Here's a couple URLs.

The problem with these filters is that you definitely here air being sucked into the throttle body, doesn't bother me, but some folks may complain. I can also email some photos of my install - send me an email separately if you want a copy of the pictures.
