While you'll notice an improvement over the stock unit, the cold air
tubes do come out ahead in the HP department due to the cooler air
supply.
3.9L and 5.2/5.9L are not the same bore size...42/46mm vs. 48mm

I put an Edelbrock on my V8 and my seat-of-the-pants dyno told me
increased throttle response over the stock air box with a drop in K&N. I
assume the throttle body of the 5.9L is the same diameter opening as the
3.9L. Holley also has the same air cleaner. Here's a couple URLs.

The problem with these filters is that you definitely here air being
sucked into the throttle body, doesn't bother me, but some folks may
complain. I can also email some photos of my install - send me an email
