You did it right (only need to turn ignition to on for about 15 seconds though). If the code reappeared, then the problem is still present. I don't have any personal experience with this, but from what I've seen, everyone points back to the gas cap (as previously stated). Haven't paid too much attention to the entire message history, but can you check the codes again, maybe there's something else that's throwing a code now (always possible).
