I 'm trying to decode the VIN ## on my
Dakota............
I think, if I'm reading the VIN correctly
my Dak was the 30th Dakota off the assembly line.
it was made in SEPT '00 according to the sticker in the drivers door jamb
the last digits are 160030..........
what got me thinking about it, was a kid came by my shop with a '00 R/T RC
in bright silver metallic and it's 1 of 4
made for the '00 model year.
it appears to have been built around the same time mine was...........
